Let’s take a moment for a quick peek at some exciting and interesting things to see and do in Revelstoke. Naturally, fun in the snow tops the list for winter adventure in Revelstoke. The local powder is a downhiller’s dream—- for a real rush, try heli-and-cat skiing!  And there’s snow-shoeing, dog-sledding, snowmobiling and back-country trekking. You know, anytime of the year is a good time for a ‘dip’ at the Revelstoke Aquatic Centre –featuring a 25-metre pool, a wet ‘n wild waterslide, a wading pool for the kids, and the always-popular ‘lazy river!’  Revelstoke embraces the present and future, but also remembers days gone by. The Revelstoke Museum and Archives celebrates the history and heritage of this dynamic community.  At the Revelstoke Railway Museum – Canada’s railway past comes to life through fascinating exhibits and artifacts, including a restored CPR steam locomotive. The creative side of Revelstoke is on display at Art First – an independent gallery, owned and operated by the North Columbia Artists’ Cooperative showcasing the region’s finest painters, sculptors, jewelers and photographers.
